Cynthia McKinney the Crazy

Cynthia McKinney

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/02/mckinney-accuses-government-slaughtering-prisoners-dumping-bodies-katrina/

Cynthia McKinney has gone completely off the deep-end, again. I am so glad she decided to leave Georgia. She has been a complete embarrassment for too long.

She tells a story of how 5000 prisoners were killed by our government and then dumped in a Louisiana swamp. This supposedly happened after Hurricane Katrina. Wow!

I would think 5000 missing people would be easy to prove. That’s a lot of people. That’s more than have died in Iraq. That’s more than died on September 11th. 5000 is really a lot of people.

So the question really is how her district kept sending her back to Washington? It is unbelievable.

So now she sees spies everywhere. She is a lunatic. It is curious that she is actually backed by a party. Sure its the green party now, but she was a Democrat. All parties can be ashamed of corruption, but lunacy?

Here in Georgia we have known that Cynthia McKinney is not only crazy but dangerous. She was just in an extremely leftist district. Yes Georgia has its own group of leftists. Atlanta has some of the more “Progressive” people in the south.

IETester is a freeware app that lets you view web content in several versions of IE. In the past you could only have 1 version of IE loaded on a windows machine at a time. This made many people wait to update their IE so they could still test web pages in the older version. With IETester feel free to upgrade to the latest IE.

I have been checking out how well it emulates the different versions of IE and so far it does a pretty good job. The CSS and JavaScript support is pretty spot on. If you need to develop sites then download IETester.

Democrats and Taxes

It always amazes me that Democrats try and hide their ambition for raising taxes. This year Obama is trying to tell us he is going to cut taxes.

It is amazing. How can anyone believe this? He has dropped the amount made to make you rich from 250,000 to 200,000 to now Joe Biden saying if you make less than 150,000 you don’t have anything to worry about. My father who is a Democrat makes no bones that Obama is going to raise taxes. He will tell you that it’s going to happen and that it’s just how you get elected.

So the Bush tax cuts were very large. I remember very well getting a large cut and a bigger pay check. I made less than 50,000 at the time. It made my life a lot easier. Obama has stated he will be letting the Bush tax cuts run out. This will affect everyone who pays taxes. So to believe that only people making more than 150,000 a year will not be taxed is absurd.

I live where the cost of living is relatively low. 150k a year is not rich at all. You have 2 kids and that goes fast. Class warfare is a very bad thing. It only causes jealousy and envy. It never has a good outcome. It raises no one up. It only brings others down.

For some reason everyone thinks that we need to get this extra revenue for the government. Why? Government sucks. They need to stop spending so much money and only pay for necessities. Not having an overbearing government is what makes America so great.

**UPDATE 4/2/2008**

They raised taxes on cigerettes yesterday. This breaks the promise not to raise taxes of any kind on people making less than 250,000 a year. Obamatons say that it doesn’t count. It counts and hurts mostly poor people. They are the ones who are most likely to smoke. So not even 100 days in and he breaks his taxes pledge. Shame to milk the poor to raise money for SCHIP.

Police: McCain volunteer made up robbery story

I think it is always sad when people make up being victims of crimes. It happens a lot and the people accused have to deal with it sometimes the rest of their lives. Luckily here no one was actually blamed for doing it. The media was able to kill the story in less than 24 hours since it was something that could have hurt the Obama campaign. I doubt the same would be done for Mccain, but a lie is a lie and I am happy that it was revealed.

The problem I have about this though was I hear people at work saying that all the cars being keyed and signs being destroyed or taken are also manufactured. They use this as a way to blow off other bad behavior that Obama backers are doing.

We all know that for the last 8 years the media and the educational system has demonized the Bush Administration and Republicans in general. They have not been responsible about how they are influencing our youth who are extremely impressionable. Hormones make young adults very passionate as well as brash.

The media and the educational system has created an enemy out of fellow Americans because they have differing beliefs. They either don’t understand or don’t care that they are not telling the youth to not act out in harmful and even violent ways. I am all for passion but for some reason we are not helping kids channel this passion. Protest is not always they best way to do so. Confrontation is sometimes valid but it should be restrained.

The arts have always been good ways for people to express their beliefs without harming other people. Music, writing, painting, and other creative outlets are much better ways to express yourself over screaming at a stranger who has a bumper sticker of an opposing party on their car. Everyone in America has the right to freedom of speech.

I was a Boy Scout growing up. I never got to Eagle but I was in scouts for several years. Scout taught me a lot about respecting others, restraint, and service to the community and the country. One of my disappointments with the country is we don’t try and get more kids in scouting. It seems that organizations like scouting are dwindling and kids don’t have guidance on how they can be good citizens and responsible adults.

I hope we can move back towards guiding kids instead of just getting them upset and just letting them run amok. I don’t want anyone to be censored. If you disagree with me then by all means express it. Just don’t think keying my car is going to help your point of view.

Joe Biden Sings “The Villages”

I don’t know if this is him or not but damn its funny. Who ever this is, they are drunk as hell.

Wicked the Musical Review

Wicked the Musical Poster

I went to go see the Musical Wicked last night with my wife. It was playing at the Fabulous Fox Theater which is across from where I work, but more importantly across from where I park. I always try to keep an eye out for new shows there since it is easy for me to get to and park for free.

Anyway, the show was very good. The story is about Glinda (played by Katie Rose Clarke) the good witch and Elphaba (played by Carmen Cusack) the wicked witch from “The Wizard of Oz”. The story starts right after the Wicked Witch of the West (Elphaba) is killed by Dorothy throwing water on her. Glinda then tells the story of Elphaba’s life. The show tells how both Galinda and Elphaba become friends in boarding school then leave to join the Wizard of Oz in Emerald City.

The music was very good. The harmonies and melodies were really well done. Since the story mostly revolves around two women, the music was able to have a dueling aspect. The two main characters would have duets that were exceptional. Not to mention the strength of the performers vocal talents.

I think it is a very good production and if you get a chance to go, you should take it.

  • Welcome to My World

I have decided to start blogging. I mostly, in the past, have been an avid forum administrator for several boards. Right now I am between forums and thought I might start channeling my stupidity onto my own page. Yeah for you who is ready my drivel.

I have many hobbies from politics, music, religion, cooking, art, movies, web development, warcraft, science, and many other things that I will be posting here. I don’t think I could continually post about 1 single topic. So I think I will just vomit my thoughts out on the web without trying to sift through it. YUMMY!
